Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Smart Contract Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in smart contract development using Solidity, a strong computer science background, and a passion for blockchain innovation. You will play a critical role in designing and deploying smart contracts, collaborating with product teams, and shaping the future of blockchain applications within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy smart contracts for operations such as asset tokenization and user verification.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate smart contract functionalities into digital solutions.
- Design and optimize the backend architecture for incentivized testing environments and future blockchain standards.
- Lead the preparation of code for security reviews by Month 3.
- Contribute to ideation for new blockchain applications and solutions.
- Mentor new team members and support the technical recruitment process.
Primary Skills:
- Proficiency in smart contract development using Solidity with at least one live deployed project on a mainnet EVM chain.
- Strong understanding of smart contract, indexing, and off-chain architecture to support testnet campaigns.
- Experience with L2 deployments on EVM chains.
- Expertise in cross-chain governance and DeFi application development.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Proficiency in Rust.
- Familiarity with prominent technical roles in DeFi projects.
- Experience with blockchain standards and incentivized testnets.
Qualifications:
- Over 3 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year in blockchain smart contract coding.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals.
- Previous experience in a leading technical role at a DeFi project.
- Demonstrated expertise with L2 deployments and cross-chain governance in blockchain applications.
