Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP OPAL (Label Management) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Production Planning (SAP PP) and SAP OPAL Label Software. The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years of experience in customer-facing roles and a proven track record in SAP AMS support, ticket resolution, and system enhancements. This role involves functional expertise in SAP PP, OPAL Label solutions, and MES integration, ensuring smooth operations and user support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide SAP AMS support, including ticket resolution, system enhancements, and continuous improvements.
- Design, test, and support SAP OPAL Label Management solutions.
- Collaborate with end-users to address functional requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Manage critical incident resolution within agreed SLAs.
- Work with SAP PP and ensure seamless integration with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
- Support system improvements, new feature implementations, and user training.
Primary Skills:
- SAP OPAL Label Management – Advanced expertise required.
- SAP PP (Production Planning) – Strong hands-on experience.
- SAP MES Integration – Ability to manage and support system integrations.
- SAP AMS Support – Experience handling tickets, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
- Customer-Facing Experience (7+ years) – Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience with other SAP manufacturing modules.
- Knowledge of barcode labeling and regulatory compliance in labeling solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for SAP enhancements and support.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a customer-facing SAP support or consulting role.
- Proven expertise in SAP OPAL Label Management and SAP PP.
- Strong background in SAP AMS support and incident resolution.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
