Job Overview/Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Group Reporting Consultant to support a long-term consulting engagement in Providence, RI. The role involves leading the implementation and configuration of SAP Group Reporting solutions, ensuring the successful financial consolidation and reporting for the business. The consultant will collaborate with finance and IT teams, handle system configurations, and troubleshoot issues in a hybrid work setting (3 days onsite). This is a 12-month engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Group Reporting solutions
- Collaborate with finance and IT teams to define and document business requirements
- Customize and configure the SAP Group Reporting system to meet business needs
- Provide expertise in financial consolidation processes such as intercompany eliminations and currency translations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAP Group Reporting module
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Support the finance team in statutory and financial reporting
Primary Skills:
- 8+ years of overall SAP experience with a minimum of 3 years focused on SAP Group Reporting
- Expertise in SAP Group Reporting configurations, financial consolidations, and reporting processes
- Strong knowledge of finance processes and statutory reporting requirements
- Experience leading or contributing to SAP implementations and upgrades
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (FI/CO)
- Familiarity with data migration and transformation processes
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in SAP Group Reporting with hands-on configuration and troubleshooting experience
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
