Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical ICU. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, critical thinking abilities, and a passion for patient-centered care in a high-acuity environment. You will play a vital role in caring for post-operative and critically ill patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to post-surgical ICU patients

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to implement care plans

  • Monitor patient progress and respond to emergencies using clinical judgment

  • Administer medications, therapies, and life-support interventions

  • Document patient status, treatments, and care delivery accurately

Primary Skills:

  • Expertise in critical care or ICU nursing

  • Advanced patient monitoring and intervention skills

  • Proficient in emergency response and life-saving procedures

  • Strong assessment and clinical documentation abilities

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • One year of telemetry experience preferred

  • CCRN certification preferred

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing (required)

Licensure:

  • Valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from your state of residence is required

  • If holding an RN license from another Compact state, you must obtain a Multi-State RN License from your resident state within 30 days

Certifications:

  • American Heart Association BLS CPR (required within 7 days of hire)

  • American Heart Association ACLS and NIHSS (required during orientation for ICU/CCU, SICU, and CVICU)
