Job Overview/Summary:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Respiratory Therapist at Surgical Hospital. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing cardiopulmonary and respiratory care, with a focus on neonatal intensive care and advanced respiratory therapy procedures.
Responsibilities:
Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures
Monitor and evaluate patient response to therapy
Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to develop treatment plans
Provide specialized care in neonatal intensive care settings
Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment
Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
Primary Skills:
Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Care
Intensive Care experience
Neonatal respiratory therapy expertise
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Patient and family education
Emergency respiratory procedures
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field
Valid certification and licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
Strong understanding of respiratory therapy techniques and medical knowledge
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
