Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Overview/Summary:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Respiratory Therapist at Surgical Hospital. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing cardiopulmonary and respiratory care, with a focus on neonatal intensive care and advanced respiratory therapy procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures

  • Monitor and evaluate patient response to therapy

  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to develop treatment plans

  • Provide specialized care in neonatal intensive care settings

  • Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment

  • Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices

  • Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

Primary Skills:

  • Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Care

  • Intensive Care experience

  • Neonatal respiratory therapy expertise

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Patient and family education

  • Emergency respiratory procedures

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field

  • Valid certification and licensure as a Respiratory Therapist

  • Strong understanding of respiratory therapy techniques and medical knowledge

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
