Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Designer to join our team. This role involves working on projects of various sizes and complexities with the guidance and mentorship of experienced engineers. The Plumbing Designer will play a critical role in developing designs from concept to construction, collaborating with multiple in-house disciplines to deliver comprehensive project solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft plumbing systems for a wide range of projects under the guidance of senior engineers.
  • Utilize ABS, ADT, and Revit software to create precise and accurate designs.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines within the organization to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Contribute to all project phases, from concept development to construction completion.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills and expertise in plumbing design through mentorship and hands-on experience.

Primary Skills:

  • 5+ years of drafting and design experience in the architectural/engineering environment.
  • High level of proficiency in ABS, ADT, and Revit.
  • Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems design and documentation.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Familiarity with construction processes and multi-discipline coordination.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree preferred; technical certifications are a plus.
  • Expertise in computer software related to drafting and design.
