Job Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in daily operations, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, and deliver excellent customer service. This role involves handling confidential information, assisting with prescription processing, compounding, audits, and supporting health and wellness initiatives.
Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring professional judgment.

Provide exceptional customer service while performing prescription intake, data entry, adjudication, and dispensing.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.

Support coaching and training of clerks and/or technicians.

Compound medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Perform post-fill audits to verify prescription accuracy.

Assist with non-dispensing services using various platforms, resources, and applications.

Complete CLIA-waived screenings and other services allowed by state and regulatory bodies.

Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and health code regulations.

Report all illegal activity, including theft, fraud, or robbery, immediately.

Support company health and wellness initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Completion of national registration, certification, or licensure (per state requirements).

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards.
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or comparable healthcare role.

Demonstrated experience in pharmacy operations, customer service, or health and wellness services.

Ability to perform CLIA-waived tests and compound medications.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced retail or clinical pharmacy environment.

Standing, walking, and lifting may be required.
