Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PBCS Support Specialist for a large global pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution company. The organization has recently implemented Oracle Cloud Finance, MFG/SCM, and EPM and requires a skilled PBCS professional with expertise in script writing (Groovy, Calc Scripts, Batch Scripting) and a strong understanding of finance processes. This is a remote, fast-paced support role that requires quick problem-solving, collaboration, and adaptability.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle PBCS (Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service).
  • Write and optimize Groovy, Calc Scripts, and Batch Scripts to enhance PBCS functionalities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to PBCS, integrations, and data processing.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure seamless financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Support users in resolving technical and functional issues related to PBCS.
  • Work in a fast-paced remote environment, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Assist in automation, data validation, and process optimization within PBCS.

Primary Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle PBCS (Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service).
  • Proficiency in Groovy scripting, Calc Scripts, and Batch Scripting for PBCS customizations.
  • Solid finance background with knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving PBCS-related functional and technical issues.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience with Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management).
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Finance and MFG/SCM integration.
  • Familiarity with automation and optimization techniques for PBCS processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in PBCS support and development.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
