Job Overview/Summary:

The Palliative Care Physician will provide compassionate, patient-centered care focused on symptom management, quality of life improvement, and support for patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive palliative care services, including symptom management and pain control

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop individualized care plans

  • Support patients and families through complex medical and emotional needs

  • Ensure compliance with all clinical, ethical, and regulatory standards

  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Primary Skills:

  • Palliative care clinical expertise

  • Symptom and pain management

  • Patient and family counseling

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience working in hospital, hospice, or outpatient settings

  • Strong communication and empathy-driven care approach

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Palliative Care, required

  • Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or possession of an active Texas medical license in good standing
