Job Overview/Summary:
Use your skills to make a meaningful impact in patients’ lives as an Occupational Therapist. In this role, you will help individuals regain independence, improve daily functioning, and enhance their quality of life through personalized therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, self-care, and daily living skills.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and equipment use.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Primary Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Effective organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of rehabilitative techniques and adaptive equipment.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Home Health experience.
Experience working with diverse patient populations.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
Minimum of six (6) months of occupational therapy experience preferred.
Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure.
Current CPR certification.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
