Job Overview/Summary:

Pulivarthi Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Anesthesiology Assistant (CAA) to provide high-quality anesthesia care in collaboration with anesthesiologists and the perioperative team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in preoperative assessments, anesthesia delivery, and post-anesthesia recovery, with a strong focus on patient safety, collaboration, and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and/or review comprehensive preoperative anesthetic evaluations.

  • Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists to develop individualized anesthetic plans.

  • Monitor and manage patients during anesthesia, recognizing and treating cardiac arrhythmias and other complications.

  • Initiate emergency resuscitation measures as needed and call for assistance in life-threatening situations.

  • Order pre-anesthetic medications and monitoring procedures as per American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) guidelines.

  • Serve as a preceptor for anesthesia students and provide education and guidance to clinical staff.

  • Communicate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and referring physicians regarding patient status and anesthetic plans.

  • Participate in departmental case reviews and risk management activities.

  • Maintain complete and accurate anesthetic records, including antibiotic administration details and billing documentation.

  • Expertise in anesthesia assessment, planning, and administration.

  • Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Attention to detail in clinical documentation and patient monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required.

  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Anesthetist program (American Association of Nurse Anesthetists) or Anesthesiologist Assistant program (Academy of Anesthesiologist Assistants).

  • Active BLS and ACLS certifications required.

  • Training and experience consistent with national anesthesia care standards.
