Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced professionals and new graduates to work in a dynamic inpatient hospital environment using advanced imaging technology.

Responsibilities:

Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.

Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.

Operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care.

Primary Skills:

MRI scanning and imaging techniques.

Patient care and communication.

Knowledge of MRI safety and protocols.

Experience with GE MRI equipment.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Prior inpatient hospital experience.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an approved school of Radiology.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.

New York State License in Radiologic Technology (Preferred).

Previous MRI Technologist experience (Preferred).

At least 3 years of experience in an inpatient hospital setting (Preferred).
