Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Microvellum Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a key player in producing high-quality Millwork and cabinetry designs using Microvellum software. If you have a passion for woodwork, a keen eye for detail, and a solid background in engineering, we want to hear from you.
 
Responsibilities:
As a Microvellum Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Creating and modifying custom Millwork and cabinetry designs using Microvellum software.
Producing accurate Cutlists and Cutbillings for production and installation teams.
Working closely with the design team to ensure all designs meet technical specifications and quality standards.
Reviewing and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications.
Utilizing AutoCAD to draft detailed drawings.
Troubleshooting any issues with the Microvellum software and providing solutions.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Continuously improving and updating your knowledge of Microvellum and AutoCAD software.
Providing technical support and training to other team members as needed.
 
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Microvellum Engineer position should have the following:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in the Millwork or cabinetry industry.
Proficiency in Microvellum and AutoCAD software.
A thorough understanding of the principles of woodwork and cabinetry design.
Experience in creating Cutlists and Cutbillings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with other design software and tools related to Millwork and cabinetry.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in woodworking and cabinetry design.
Experience in project management and coordination.
