Job Overview/Summary:
The Medical Administrative Assistant plays a key role in supporting the underwriting process by coordinating communication between proposed insureds, underwriters, general agents, and vendors. This role involves reviewing life insurance applications, ensuring data accuracy, maintaining records across multiple systems, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between proposed insureds, underwriters, general agents, and vendors throughout the underwriting process
Review life insurance applications to ensure accuracy and alignment with interviewer notes
Compile and organize case information for escalation and review by appropriate parties
Perform data entry across multiple systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Provide customer service support, including assisting clients via phone when needed
Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper documentation of all application-related information

Ability to work independently and maintain productivity
