Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Consultant with over 10 years of expertise in Information Technology, particularly within the medical device industry. The role involves leading validation efforts, managing testing and implementation activities, and collaborating with global teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in QT, C++, Linux, and OPENGL, along with experience in UI development and software design verification for medical devices.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, debug, modify, and review regulated software tools supporting the software verification process.
  • Track software development and testing efforts using approved tracking management tools.
  • Analyze and solve engineering problems by recommending corrective or alternative actions.
  • Manage test assets in a concurrent design environment using version management tools.
  • Collaborate with requirements and development teams to resolve software errors.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with global team members.
  • Participate in Agile or Kanban software development processes to achieve team and individual goals.
  • Continuously improve processes and work methodologies by interfacing with peers and cross-functional groups.

Primary Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • 6+ years of experience in the medical device industry.
  • Proficiency in QT, C++, Linux, and OPENGL.
  • Experience with Rapid Prototyping.
  • Expertise in software design verification of medical devices.
  • Proficiency in UI development and testing.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience leading teams using Agile or Kanban methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple testing activities concurrently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness to relocate or commute to Marlborough, MA.
