Job Overview/Summary: We are seeking an experienced Java Developer for a long-term onsite role in Austin, TX. This position requires H1B eligibility, a strong foundation in Core Java, Microservices, SQL, and experience with AWS and Kafka. The ideal candidate will have a background in development projects and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, debug, and modify Java programming according to requirements.
- Address engineering challenges by analyzing issues and recommending solutions.
- Analyze and verify requirements, software, and systems using software engineering best practices.
- Use version management tools for development assets in a concurrent environment.
- Collaborate with requirements and testing teams to resolve software errors.
- Work closely with global team members for seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
- Located within commuting distance of Austin, TX, or willing to relocate.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in information technology.
- Proficient in Core Java, Microservices, SQL, and GitHub.
- Experience with AWS and Kafka.
- Strong technical skills and a collaborative mindset.
