Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapist to support physical, occupational, and therapeutic recreation staff in delivering high-quality patient care. This role offers the opportunity to work in a diverse and fast-paced healthcare environment alongside a collaborative and skilled team of therapists.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physical, occupational, and therapeutic recreation staff in patient care activities

  • Support therapy sessions and help prepare equipment and treatment areas

  • Monitor and report patient responses and progress to the therapy team

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

  • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

  • Follow all healthcare protocols, safety standards, and facility guidelines

Primary Skills:

  • Patient care support

  • Rehabilitation therapy assistance

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

  • Team collaboration

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Knowledge of physical or occupational therapy practices

  • Experience with therapeutic recreation programs

  • Basic medical terminology

  • Organizational and time management skills

Qualifications:

  • Nursing Assistant-Registered (NAR) with the State of Washington

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Six months of experience in customer service within a healthcare setting OR six months of direct patient care experience OR equivalent education/experience

  • Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers upon hire
