Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a Designer to join our client's Experience Team, shaping how customers engage with a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of global brands. This role requires an expert in user experience and interaction design who can independently lead projects in a fast-paced Agile environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams through all design stages, from research and user flows to prototyping and high-fidelity designs. A strong portfolio demonstrating UX expertise in retail, e-commerce, transactional, or loyalty programs is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead UX/UI design for multiple projects, optimizing for usability, preference, and ease of adoption.
  • Ensure consistent and effective design experiences across platforms while aligning with core strategy.
  • Advocate for and participate in user testing, collaborating with research and product teams.
  • Facilitate workshops and design sprints to explore problem spaces and create alignment.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to evaluate feasibility and impact.
  • Present and justify design decisions to stakeholders and leadership teams.
  • Maintain a growth mindset, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve design solutions.

Primary Skills:

  • 7-9 years of experience designing for web and mobile, with a strong portfolio.
  • 3+ years of experience in native mobile app design (for App/Stores team roles).
  • 3+ years of experience in responsive web design (for .Com team roles).
  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise UX/process design (for internal applications).
  • Expertise in UI/UX design, combining custom design system elements with native mobile patterns.
  • Strong experience in user research, usability testing, and needs-finding research.
  • Ability to review and provide feedback to designers and developers to ensure high-quality execution.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and respect for evolving design processes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to advocate for user-centered design.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, transactional systems, or loyalty programs.
  • Familiarity with design sprint facilitation and executive-level presentations.
  • Working knowledge of design systems, accessibility standards, and front-end development principles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
