Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant for a full-time, outpatient-based position in a clinic setting. This role offers the opportunity to work in a focused dermatology specialty environment, emphasizing patient continuity and long-term care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, providing excellent work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality dermatologic care in an outpatient clinic setting.
Perform patient evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
Utilize dermoscopy in clinical assessments; training is available if needed.
Build and maintain long-term, meaningful relationships with patients.
Collaborate closely with a supportive, multidisciplinary care team.
Document patient care accurately using the electronic medical record system.
Primary Skills:
Clinical dermatology experience.
Patient assessment and management.
Dermoscopy proficiency or willingness to advance skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently with clinical autonomy.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Epic EMR experience.
Prior experience in a focused dermatology specialty practice.
Team-oriented mindset in a collaborative clinical environment.
Qualifications:
Prior dermatology experience required.
Competent and confident in dermoscopy; training provided by a leading dermoscopy expert.
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program with satisfactory performance and completed proctoring requirements.
Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state .
Current and active DEA licensure.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Excellent communication skills and commitment to collaborative care.
