Job Overview/Summary:
A healthcare facility in Elmhurst, NY, is seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a temporary position. This role requires proficiency with advanced equipment and at least one year of relevant experience. The selected candidate will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures, including biopsies, cardiac CT, and post-processing.
- Produce CT scans for diagnostic interpretation with a high degree of accuracy.
- Operate CT equipment, adjusting technical factors and utilizing safety devices as necessary.
- Ensure proper identification and demographic information on all imaging materials.
- Provide radiation protection to patients, families, staff, and the general public.
Primary Skills:
- Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved program in Radiologic Technology.
- AHA BLS certification (Required).
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification (Required).
- NYC CT License (Required).
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Proficiency with EPIC systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a CT Technologist.
