Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a dynamic healthcare team providing comprehensive women’s health services. This full-time role involves working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including clinic and Mother-Baby units. The CNM will provide care to a diverse patient population and support a wide range of women’s health services including obstetrics, gynecology, and uro-gynecology. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient-centered care, collaborative practice, and delivering high-quality maternal healthcare.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive prenatal, antepartum, and postpartum care to patients.

Perform and manage vaginal deliveries in a safe and supportive environment.

Deliver patient care across inpatient and outpatient settings including clinics and Mother-Baby units.

Provide daytime Labor & Delivery (L&D) coverage as required.

Conduct routine gynecological examinations and assessments.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Educate patients and families about pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum recovery, and women’s health.

Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established clinical protocols.

Support quality improvement initiatives and uphold patient safety standards.

Primary Skills:

Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) clinical expertise

Labor and Delivery (L&D) care

Vaginal delivery management

Prenatal, antepartum, and postpartum care

Women’s health and obstetric care

Patient assessment and clinical decision-making

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Gynecology and uro-gynecology experience

Strong patient education and counseling skills

Interdisciplinary teamwork and collaboration

Electronic Health Record (EHR) documentation

Quality improvement and patient safety practices

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Nursing or Midwifery required.

Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) as a Certified Nurse Midwife.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNM required.

Strong Labor & Delivery or OB/GYN RN background required.

Excellent critical thinking, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based healthcare environment.
