Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a Certified Epic Radiant Analyst to join our healthcare-focused IT team. The role involves analyzing, implementing, and optimizing Epic Radiant applications to meet the goals of medical centers and improve patient outcomes. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare IT systems, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and detail the business functions and operational characteristics of departments using medical center automated data systems.
- Plan, develop, and prepare detailed specifications for application systems aligned with the medical center's objectives.
- Perform system implementation, testing, evaluation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Diagnose, isolate, and resolve application resource and utilization problems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Develop and execute training programs for technical, support, and customer personnel.
- Collaborate with senior staff and management for periodic review and approval of projects.
- Engage directly with end-users to gather and analyze their business requirements.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare, Nursing, Pharmacy, or Allied Health.
- Certification in Epic Radiant required.
Primary Skills:
- 2–4 years of experience in information technology, preferably in healthcare IT.
- Experience with systems implementation, including analysis, specification design, and deployment.
- Knowledge of hospital systems, healthcare technology trends, and business practices.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with stakeholders to understand and document their business requirements.
