Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Boomi Mapper/Developer to develop, test, and maintain EDI maps in Boomi, ensuring the accurate transformation of X12 and XML documents. This role involves handling trading partner onboarding, troubleshooting EDI transactions, configuring BizManager, and optimizing connectivity with OpenText VAN. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Boomi EDI mapping, scripting, and partner integration with a solid understanding of retailers' EDI specifications and troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain EDI maps in Boomi for accurate transformation of X12 and XML documents.
- Handle trading partner onboarding, ensuring smooth integrations with 30+ direct connections and 95+ total partners.
- Manage complex mappings in TLi where needed.
- Configure and troubleshoot BizManager for secure EDI communication.
- Work with OpenText VAN to manage transactions and optimize connectivity.
- Ensure compliance with retailers' EDI specifications, troubleshooting and resolving any mapping issues.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize EDI transactions to ensure seamless data flow.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and trading partners to improve EDI processes.
Primary Skills:
- Boomi EDI mapping experience, including scripting, setup, and partner integration.
- Strong proficiency in X12 (850, 855, 810, 856, 997, etc.) and XML document handling.
- Experience with TLi for complex mapping scenarios.
- Strong knowledge of BizManager for EDI communication setup and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with OpenText VAN for EDI transaction management.
- Experience working on the supplier side, adapting to retailers' EDI specifications.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot EDI errors, connectivity issues, and mapping failures.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience with cloud-based EDI solutions.
- Knowledge of retail industry EDI requirements.
- Strong SQL and scripting knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience developing and managing EDI maps using Boomi.
- Prior experience working with EDI transactions, troubleshooting, and partner onboarding.
