Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a Veterinarian to join our team in Northern, VA. The successful candidate will share our dedication to providing exceptional care to our patients and will thrive in our supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
 
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and advanced medical and surgical procedures on companion animals.
Conduct thorough examinations and develop treatment plans for patients.
Communicate effectively with clients to educate them on pet health and wellness.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Participate in continuing education to stay abreast of latest developments in veterinary medicine.
 
Primary Skills:
Proficiency in diagnosing and treating medical conditions in companion animals.
Strong surgical skills, including routine procedures and soft tissue surgeries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
 
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Experience with exotic animal medicine.
Knowledge of preventive care and wellness programs for pets.
 
Qualifications:
State Licensed.
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) Degree.
Board Certification in Ophthalmology.
Ability to work a rotational weekend schedule is preferred.
