Job Overview/Summary:
The Associate Veterinarian is responsible for providing high-quality medical, surgical, and preventative care to companion animals. This role offers a collaborative environment with mentorship opportunities for new graduates and access to advanced resources to support professional growth and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions.

Develop and implement treatment plans and prescribe medications.

Perform routine and advanced surgical and dental procedures as appropriate.

Provide preventative care including vaccinations, wellness exams, and client education.

Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care.

Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution

Active Florida Veterinary License or ability to obtain and remain in good standing

DEA license or eligibility to obtain
