Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia care providers by ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of anesthesia services. The ideal candidate will assist with equipment preparation, maintenance, and patient support before, during, and after anesthesia procedures.

Responsibilities:

Provide anesthesia technician services under the direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia care provider.

Clean, sterilize, disinfect, stock, and maintain routine anesthesia equipment.

Maintain anesthesia medications, supplies, and equipment according to schedules and clinical needs.

Prepare and maintain patient monitoring devices and anesthesia delivery systems pre-, intra-, and post-anesthesia.

Apply age-specific considerations to meet the needs of diverse patient populations.

Perform basic troubleshooting of monitors and equipment; report defects or malfunctions immediately.

Maintain departmental policies, procedures, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Document and maintain preventive maintenance and quality records.

Assist with transportation of patients and laboratory specimens as needed.

Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and meetings as required.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma in Anesthesia Technology or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Anesthesia Technician or in a relevant clinical area.
