Job Overview/Summary:
The Aircraft Technician will work as part of a team to ensure a safe and legal environment for passengers and colleagues, performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on customer and transient aircraft. This role involves adhering to FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines, conducting pre- and post-flight inspections, and executing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks to ensure compliance with applicable technical data and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer and transient aircraft per FAA regulations and technical data.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Ensure all work completed during assigned shift meets manufacturer and regulatory standards.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Violation-free, current Airframe and Power Plant certificate.
  • Personal set of tools suitable for the aircraft type in operation.
  • Strong teamwork attitude, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, situational awareness, and job planning abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturer documentation, schematic, and wiring diagrams.
  • Strong avionics, electrical, troubleshooting, and hydraulic systems knowledge.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying conditions.
  • Flexibility for shift work, holidays, weekends, stand-by, on-call, and travel.
  • Willingness to work outdoors as required.
