Job Title: SAP S/4HANA RISE PCE Segmentation Expert (Retail/Fashion)

Job Overview/Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA RISE PCE Segmentation Expert with a strong background in retail and fashion industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining segmentation strategies, configuring and deploying segmentation functionalities, integrating inventory processes, and managing data flows across various sales channels, including e-commerce, retail, and wholesale. This role requires deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Segmentation and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory and fulfillment operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Segmentation Blueprint & Design

  • Analyze existing channel and inventory processes across e-commerce, retail, wholesale, and emerging segments.
  • Collaborate with business users to define segmentation use cases, data flows, and weekly or ad-hoc reallocation scenarios.
  • Establish guidelines for managing and updating segment assignments using real-time or near real-time inventory insights.

Configuration & Deployment

  • Configure SAP S/4HANA RISE PCE Segmentation functionalities while ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  • Integrate segmentation with SAP modules (SD, MM, PP) and external planning tools (e.g., Toolio or equivalent).
  • Set up prioritization rules for sales orders, stock transport orders, and store orders within individual segments.

Inventory Management & Data Integration

  • Define integration touchpoints with third-party systems (e.g., ChannelApe, 3PLs) that may be retained or sunset.
  • Facilitate scheduled data feeds to planning tools (daily, midday refresh, etc.), ensuring accuracy and synchronization.

Change Management & Reallocation

  • Establish processes for inventory reallocation between segments (e.g., wholesale to retail) based on market demands.
  • Develop and validate standard use cases that trigger reallocation decisions or buffer segment scenarios.

Documentation & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with planning, purchasing, and receiving processes.
  • Document Segmentation best practices, user guides, and decision frameworks for reference.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for end users and internal teams.

Primary Skills:

  • Expertise in SAP S/4HANA RISE PCE Segmentation for retail/fashion.
  • Strong understanding of inventory segmentation, allocation, and prioritization.
  • Hands-on experience integrating SAP SD, MM, and PP with external planning tools.
  • Ability to configure real-time data synchronization across sales channels.
  • Experience managing SAP-integrated inventory reallocation strategies.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Familiarity with third-party inventory management tools (e.g., ChannelApe, Toolio).
  • Experience working with 3PL integrations in a retail/fashion environment.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and reporting in SAP for segmentation tracking.
  • Strong business process documentation and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on segmentation and inventory management.
  • Prior experience in fashion/retail industry SAP implementations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to optimize segmentation processes.
  • Ability to work remotely and collaborate across global teams.
