Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, analysis, design, development, integration, and overall implementation of Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data with AWS Streams (Apache Kafka and Kinesis) for a Federal client.
Design, architect, engineer, and administer Oracle GoldenGate, including installation, configuration, integration, upgrades, patching, migration, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
Implement Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data to integrate an on-prem Oracle database with AWS Streams (Apache Kafka and Kinesis).
Utilize network troubleshooting tools and techniques.
Monitor systems and apply resolutions as necessary.
Perform performance tuning and optimization.
Create and maintain documentation for GoldenGate design and architecture.
Lead technical meetings such as design workshops and troubleshooting sessions.
Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
Provide regular status updates and reports on a weekly/monthly basis.

Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate for Big Data is essential.
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
10+ years of progressive technology consulting and engineering experience.
6+ years of Oracle DBA and GoldenGate experience.
Minimum of 1 year of Big Data and Streaming Data experience.
Expertise in Oracle GoldenGate installation, configuration, and replication setup.
Strong troubleshooting skills with Oracle GoldenGate Extracts, Data-Pumps, and replication.
Experience with Big Data platforms, AWS Streams, and Apache Kafka is a plus.
Experience supporting interfaces and back-end integration within applications.
Hands-on experience working in Unix/Linux operating systems.
Proficient in SQL, Python, Perl, Unix/Linux Shell scripting, tuning, and debugging.
Experience with Oracle database replication.
Proven ability to prioritize critical workloads.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
