Job Title: Datastage Developer with Control-M
Location: Remote

Job Details:
Experience: 6+ years of development experience
Expertise: Control M, DataStage, Zena Scheduler, Unix scripting
 
Key Skills:
Strong understanding of Data Warehousing (DW) basic concepts
Designed, developed, and implemented Control-M workflows to automate batch processes, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced manual errors.
Conducted troubleshooting and debugging of Control-M workflows to identify and resolve issues, minimizing downtime and maximizing system reliability.
Experience with various Control-M utilities such as ctm_menu, root_menu, ctmagcfg, ctmwincfg, ctmpsm, ctmlog, ag_diag_comm, ctmcontb, ctmcreate, ctmfw, ctmorder, ctmudly, ctma_data_collector.
Working knowledge of Control-M/Servers, Control-M/Agents, Control-M EM main components like Database, Gateway, GUI Server, Naming Service, and Global Condition Server (GCS).
Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, writing SQL queries, etc.)
 
Secondary Skillset:
Knowledge of JIRA, Github, Jenkins
Experience in Agile Development methodologies
Excellent communication skills and team dynamics
 
This role requires a candidate with 6+ years of development experience, particularly strong expertise in Control M, DataStage, Zena Scheduler, and Unix scripting. The candidate should have a solid understanding of Data Warehousing basic concepts and experience in designing, developing, and implementing Control-M workflows. Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging Control-M workflows is essential. Additionally, knowledge of various Control-M utilities and the ability to gather and process raw data at scale are important. Secondary skills include familiarity with JIRA, Github, Jenkins, Agile Development methodologies, and excellent communication skills.
