Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Alfabet EA Tool Developer to support enterprise architecture initiatives and drive IT transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Software AG's Alfabet, Enterprise Portfolio Management, and API integrations, along with proficiency in data analysis and system integration. This role requires strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to enhance enterprise architecture capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize workflows in Software AG's Alfabet to support enterprise architecture objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive architecture assessments and drive strategic recommendations for IT transformation.
- Leverage TOGAF and other EA frameworks to enhance enterprise portfolio management capabilities.
- Work with APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and data systems to support integrations and data-driven decision-making.
- Optimize Alfabet's functionalities by analyzing system requirements and improving its configuration.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to align enterprise architecture with organizational goals.
- Utilize Linux, Git, and system analysis skills to manage Alfabet development and deployment effectively.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Alfabet EA tool implementation and maintenance.
Primary Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, specializing in Software AG's Alfabet.
- Strong knowledge of TOGAF and other enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Proven experience with IT Transformation and Enterprise Portfolio Management.
- Proficiency in Linux, Git, API integrations, and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
- Strong strategic thinking, planning, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to present technical solutions to stakeholders.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Experience with cloud-based architecture and SaaS solutions.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with IT governance and compliance best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Alfabet and Enterprise Architecture tools.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT landscapes, IT governance, and portfolio management.
