Job Overview/Summary:
The Webmaster is an administrator responsible for managing and updating our existing website, providing guidance on future technology enhancements, maintaining our organization's intranet, and ensuring an exceptional user experience across all digital platforms. This position is also responsible for crafting engaging copy for web pages that align with our brand voice and objectives.
 
Responsibilities:
Website Management:
Update and maintain content on our existing website using content management systems (CMS).
Implement design changes and improvements to enhance the website's functionality and user experience.
Monitor website performance metrics and analytics to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Collaborate with our EPIC team for MyChart integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, development, and marketing to implement website updates and enhancements.
 
Digital Strategy Development:
Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in web development and digital marketing.
Provide strategic guidance on the adoption of new technologies and digital best practices to enhance our online presence and reach.
Develop and implement digital strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion on our website.
Collaborate with Digital Marketing Strategist on digital advertising.
 
Intranet Maintenance:
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure intranet content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to employees' needs.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide user support for intranet-related inquiries.
Provide strategic guidance on the adoption of new technologies and digital best practices to enhance our online presence and reach.
 
Content Creation:
Write clear, concise, and compelling copy for web pages, landing pages, and other digital assets.
Ensure all web content adheres to brand guidelines, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards.
Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and other content creators to develop multimedia content for the website.
 
User Experience Optimization:
Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs and preferences.
Optimize online scheduling and provider profile directory.
Use insights from user feedback and analytics to optimize the website's navigation, layout, and functionality.
Champion a user-centric approach to website design and development to ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience.
 
Other Duties:
Primary Skills:
Proficiency in managing website content using CMS platforms.
Strong knowledge of web design principles, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with SEO best practices and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
 
Secondary Skills:
Experience with healthcare-related websites and intranets.
Familiarity with digital advertising strategies.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or equivalent field.
Three years of relevant experience with managing website content using CMS platforms, copywriting for websites, and digital strategy.
Experience developing and implementing digital strategies to achieve business objectives.
