Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a Traveling Veterinarian to serve the New York City, NY area. This position offers flexibility, with options for full-time, part-time, or per diem work. Our clinic supports high-level medical and surgical practices, with an emphasis on collaboration and exceptional client service.
 
Responsibilities:
Perform routine and advanced medical and surgical procedures on small animals.
Conduct thorough examinations and develop treatment plans for patients.
Communicate effectively with clients to educate them on pet health and wellness.
Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Participate in continuing education to stay abreast of the latest developments in veterinary medicine.
 
Primary Skills:
Proficiency in diagnosing and treating medical conditions in small animals.
Strong surgical skills, including routine procedures and soft tissue surgeries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
 
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Experience with emergency medicine.
Knowledge of preventive care and wellness programs for pets.
 
Qualifications:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris (VMD) Degree.
Excellent communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Works well with a team in a collaborative setting.
