Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Full-Time Paramedic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in 911 EMS services and possess the necessary certifications to provide high-quality, life-saving care to patients in emergency situations.
Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency calls for medical assistance.

Assess, treat, and stabilize patients according to protocol and best practices.

Safely transport patients to appropriate medical facilities.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Collaborate with other first responders and healthcare professionals.

Maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment and vehicles.
Primary Skills:

Advanced knowledge of emergency medical procedures
-
Excellent decision-making and critical thinking skills under pressure

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
-
Familiarity with EMS technology and electronic patient care reporting systems

Bilingual communication skills
-
Experience with public health or community outreach
Qualifications:
-
At least two (2) years of full-time experience as a 911 EMS provider preferred
-
High school diploma or GED required
-
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred (or equivalent education/experience combination)
Licensure and Certification:
-
South Carolina Paramedic certification required
-
National Registry Paramedic certification (within one year of employment)

BCLS and ACLS certifications required
-
PALS or PEPP certification required (within orientation period)

NIMS compliance with Incident Command/Management: ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 (within orientation period)

Valid South Carolina or North Carolina Driver’s License
