Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Medical Doctor (MD or DO) to provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care in an outpatient setting. This role requires a high level of autonomy and the ability to manage a patient load efficiently while collaborating with an integrated healthcare team.
Responsibilities:

Provide primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for acute and chronic conditions

Manage a patient load of approximately 18–22 patients per day after an initial ramp-up period

Prescribe and administer medication, therapies, and immunizations as required

Develop and explain treatment plans, procedures, test results, and care instructions to patients and families

Monitor patient progress and re-evaluate treatment plans as necessary

Offer health, wellness, and disease prevention counseling, including diet, exercise, and hygiene guidance

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the EMR (Athena experience is a plus)

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, team-based care

Refer patients to specialists when needed and provide long-term care support
Primary Skills:

Comprehensive patient assessment and care planning

Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions

Strong communication and patient education skills

EMR documentation and outpatient workflow management
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Familiarity with Medicare patient management and billing

Experience in team-based, integrated care models

Ability to work autonomously and make independent clinical decisions
Required Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted medical license or willingness to obtain

Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program

Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABMS or AOA) in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused care approach

Basic computer skills including email and EMR usage (Athena preferred)
Preferred Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted DEA license

Medicare Provider Number
-
Minimum of 3–7 years of directly applicable experience preferred
