Job Overview/Summary:
Pulivarthi Group is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Microsoft Azure Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, security, and support. This role requires a deep understanding of Azure services within a GCC High environment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize cloud solutions.
 
Responsibilities:
Azure Infrastructure Management:
Design, deploy, and maintain Azure virtual machines, virtual networks, storage accounts, and other infrastructure components to support our organization's needs.
Provide recommendations and assessment of IT systems and architecture.
Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor Azure services for performance, availability, and security vulnerabilities.
Proactively identify opportunities to optimize resource utilization, cost efficiency, and system performance.
 
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards within the Azure environment.
Manage RBAC, encryption, and data protection mechanisms to safeguard sensitive information.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:
Develop, implement, and maintain disaster recovery strategies to ensure high availability and resilience of critical systems and data stored in and outside of Azure.
Automation and Scripting:
Utilize automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) to streamline deployment, configuration, and management tasks, improving efficiency and consistency.
Troubleshooting and Resolution:
Investigate and resolve technical issues related to Azure services, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to troubleshoot complex problems and minimize downtime.
Support the resolution of Tier I, II, III service desk tickets.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of Azure infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
Share knowledge and best practices with team members to facilitate collaboration and skill development.
Initiate, coordinate, and enforce system policies and procedures.
Continuous Learning and Improvement:
Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and Azure services.
Continuously identify opportunities to enhance our Azure environment to meet evolving business requirements.
 
Primary Skills:
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or similar tools.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices in cloud environments.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, pipelines) and understanding of CMMC is a plus.
Security + certification is required; Microsoft Azure and other IT certifications preferred.
 
Secondary Skills:
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, pipelines).
Understanding of CMMC standards.
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Five or more years of experience as an Azure Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of Azure services and architecture preferred.
Able to work in person from our local office.
