Job Title: HealthShare Engineer

Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a skilled HealthShare Engineer to support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of InterSystems HealthShare solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HealthShare, Cache, and IRIS systems, along with experience in CI/CD, cloud technologies, and automation strategies. This role will involve supporting Tier 3 operations, managing system integrations, and ensuring the reliability of HealthShare applications in production and lower-level environments.

Responsibilities:
Develop strategies and solutions for automating operations and streamlining software delivery. Maintain Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance software deployment processes. Perform backup, recovery, patching, and ADFS integration to maintain system stability. Manage certificate updates for production and lower-level environments. Provide Tier 3 support for HealthShare applications and related technologies. Install, configure, and manage InterSystems HealthShare, Cache, and IRIS systems. Support OAuth and SSO configuration and setup. Work with AWS monitoring tools (CloudWatch) and optimize system performance. Configure and manage large-scale middleware applications for enterprise-level implementations.

Primary Skills:
3-5 years of experience in IT or Federal Government contracting, with at least 2+ years in coding or operating production systems. InterSystems HealthShare, Cache, and IRIS expertise. Experience with at least one of the following: MUMPS, DeepSee, ObjectScript, or InterSystems technologies. Experience with CI/CD processes to improve software quality and delivery speed. Proficiency in AWS, Agile/SAFe, DevOps, Unix, Apache, Ansible, and Python scripting. Hands-on experience with AWS monitoring tools like CloudWatch. Strong background in configuring large middleware applications.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Experience with healthcare data integration and HL7 standards. Familiarity with FHIR, RESTful APIs, and interoperability solutions. Knowledge of security and compliance best practices in healthcare IT.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
