Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Paramedic to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a secure facility. The ideal candidate will operate under the scope of state practice, ensuring safe and effective patient care, while collaborating with providers and following established protocols.
Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care and monitor symptoms, reactions, and progress

Document findings and develop nursing care plans

Administer prescribed medications per nursing standards and correctional regulations

Adhere to established treatment plans

Perform emergency interventions and physical assessments

Apply critical thinking in routine and urgent scenarios
Primary Skills:

Medication administration

Emergency care response

Clinical documentation

Physical assessment

Team collaboration within a medical or correctional setting
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Experience in correctional healthcare

Familiarity with EHR systems

Crisis intervention training

BLS/ACLS certifications
Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted LPN license or Paramedic certification

Knowledge of State Scope of Practice Guidelines

CPR certification (required)

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
