Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced EDI ITX Developer to support the onboarding of new trading partners using IBM ITX, upgrade and maintain ITX map components, and migrate EDI components from WTX to ITX. The ideal candidate will have expertise in IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) for mapping, development, and troubleshooting, as well as experience with B2B/EDI transactions and integration protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, build, design, test, implement, and support B2B/EDI transactions using IBM ITX.
- Upgrade and maintain ITX map components and their interfaces.
- Migrate EDI components from older WTX versions to ITX.
- Support and maintain EDI transactions using X12, EDIFACT, IDOCs, XML, JSON, CSV, etc.
- Configure and troubleshoot AS2, SFTP, API integrations, JDBC/SQL, and Linux-based deployments.
- Communicate with clients to resolve issues and provide application issue resolution.
- Develop solutions based on client requirements and provide incident support.
- Collaborate with offshore teams and mentor junior developers.
Primary Skills:
- Proficiency in IBM ITX (IBM Transformation Extender) for EDI mapping, development, testing, and implementation.
- Strong support experience with excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience maintaining B2B/EDI transactions in X12, EDIFACT, IDOCs, XML, JSON, and CSV formats.
- Knowledge of AS2, SFTP, API creation and troubleshooting, JDBC/SQL, and Linux.
- Experience in migrating WTX/ITX EDI tools or performing version upgrades.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
- Familiarity with widely used and emerging B2B/EDI tools, technologies, and applications.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in EDI development and ITX mapping.
- Experience working with IBM ITX (formerly WTX) in a production environment.
- Relevant EDI/B2B certifications are a plus.
