Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in healthcare and provide essential care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring patients are supported and treatments are delivered safely and effectively.
Responsibilities:

Assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines

Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment

Perform venipuncture and other clinical tasks under supervision

Mix acids and bicarbonates per protocol

Maintain patient safety and hygiene throughout the treatment process

Accurately record medical data and observations

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Primary Skills:

Ability to distinguish all primary colors

Comfortable handling dialysis equipment and solutions
-
Basic patient care and clinical support skills
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
-
Experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-
Familiarity with healthcare protocols and patient care standards
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
Completion of a Medical Director–approved training program within 8 weeks of hire
-
Completion of hemodialysis theory and practice training within 8 weeks of hire
-
CPR certification (within 90 days of hire or as required by state law)

Patient Care Technician certification (within 18 months of hire and maintained thereafter)
