Job Overview/Summary:
As an Oral Surgeon Dental Assistant, you will support the clinical needs of patients and doctors while contributing to a culture of collaboration and innovation. Your efforts will help improve oral health in the community, one smile at a time. This role requires daily travel to nearby dental offices to support patient care.
Responsibilities:

Travel to nearby offices to support patient care

Assist during a variety of oral surgery treatment procedures

Take dental X-rays

Set up and break down the operatory after treatment

Manage infection control protocols—prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment

Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies

Perform general office tasks as needed

Collaborate with the dental team to ensure excellent patient care
Primary Skills:

Proficiency in dental assisting for oral surgery

X-ray certification
-
Infection control and sterilization procedures

Effective patient education and communication
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Prior experience supporting multiple offices

Bilingual communication skills
-
Familiarity with Aspen Dental systems (if applicable)
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Active license, registration, or permit as required by the state

Dental X-ray certification

Valid, non-restricted driver’s license and appropriate auto insurance (or ability to be insured under company fleet)
