Job Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA). Your main responsibility will involve providing medication support to residents. Because accurate medication management significantly impacts residents’ daily well-being, your attentive and caring approach is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments according to healthcare provider instructions.
- Supervise residents during self-administration of medication, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Closely monitor residents and promptly report any changes in physical conditions or behaviors.
- Keep detailed resident records, including medication logs, activity participation, incidents, and routine observations.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Ability to provide compassionate resident care and supervision
- Attention to detail in documentation and reporting
- Strong communication and observational skills
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience working with elderly individuals
- Familiarity with medication aide regulations
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of relevant experience or equivalent training
- Prior experience in elderly care is advantageous
- Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
