Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bilingual Dental Assistant fluent in English and Spanish to join our clinical team. This role requires someone who can assist dental providers during patient care and uphold the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.
Responsibilities:

Take and record vital signs and medical histories

Prepare patients for examinations
-
Ensure the room is stocked and prepared for provider’s arrival

Take and develop radiographs (X-rays) properly
-
Mix and prepare dental materials and instruments as needed

Assist provider during dental procedures and examinations

Maintain accurate patient dental records in the Electronic Dental Record (EDR)

Perform instrument sterilization and maintain tray setups
-
Comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and PPE regulations

Perform other duties as assigned

Bilingual communication with patients and staff is required
Primary Skills:

Proficient in English and Spanish

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate effectively across all levels

Attention to detail and neat appearance

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

Experience with nitrous oxide sedation

Familiarity with electronic dental records systems

Experience working with diverse populations
Qualifications:

One academic year or longer in an ADA-accredited dental program

Minimum of one year of experience in a dental assistant role

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

Able to maintain confidentiality and work as part of a team
